Grades - 

• Grade 1 - Excellent condition surplus, field issued with some prior use. Does have a bit of tarnish on the buttons and some fading where the buttons sit on the jacket. See photos but over all in great shape.

An absolute classic piece of surplus only recently being phased out. Used by the many branches of the Austrian army, in all elements from forests to alpine landscapes, this entirely waterproof jacket is a behemoth in British weather thanks to the gore-tex / sympatex material. Its no wonder the Austrians have kept this design for 40 odd years.

A personal favourite piece of this jacket is the roll neck collar which secretes a hood away nicely! Even on colder windy days without the need for a hood, you get the extra warmth thanks to the design! All jackets come in olive drab, a beloved colour of the Austrian forces. A tried and tested colour that works exceptionally well for not being a proper camouflage pattern.

Being such a renowned material, you can be sure that this is great for hiking and bushcraft. It's also awfully useful for bikers, construction and of course anywhere outdoors in the UK. It's terribly wet 9 months out of the year and even our summers are deceptive, so to never be caught out, I wholeheartedly recommend one of these!
