Vintage surplus from 1980's Britain. This particular piece would've been worn by a gentleman who was fairly early into his career. The jacket is for ceremonial occasions, parades and the like. It is made from an air force blue wool with sateen type lining. Great for temperate climates. The contract number on the inner label dates it around 1979 - 1985.

The jacket comes with 2 button closure pockets as well as 2 slightly larger flap hip pockets, as well as 2 internal pockets for documents, IDs, cigarettes and the like. You'll find it adorned with beautiful golden buttons engraved with the RAF's eagle and crown. There is also an eagle patch on either sleeve as well as a senior aircraftsman's rank patches, a rank earned after a few years in the air force.
