- Grade 2 - Fantastic shape for vintage militaria, previously issued with some signs of use but mostly shows signs of long term storage. There is mothing in places, resulting in a few very small holes, usually only a few millimetres. Original label may have been removed. Some small markings in places, but over all great condition for their age.

Beautiful vintage from the thick of WW2. Dated 1943, these British cavalry riding breeches belonged to a Welsh gentleman who's whole family made careers in the army. The piece comes from his son who served in the King's Household Cavalry, a regiment that often rode behind the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The trousers have a very simple but elegant design. They're high waisted and intended to be worn with suspenders. Between each calf is an exterior suede padding to protect while riding. The fly is done up with buttons and the trouser cuffs can also be adjusted or fastened shut with buttons. For storage there's 2 slit waist pockets on the front. The colour is an older khaki brown.
