Grades - 

• Grade 1 - For its age it is in excellent condition. A slight bit of moth nibbling but all in all this is quite minor. Buttons are in good shape. Some wear on the collar as shown. Fantastic shape and an excellent display piece, or even for more use.

A wonderful piece of interwar militaria. Issued to a gentleman who had quite a career in the first world war, working his way up to the rank of captain. The coat is a piece of quality footguard grey wool, tailored by Todhouse Reynard & Co who worked with the British army from around 1837 onwards. The coat features a double breasted button closure, the standard for an officer. Each button is made of brass, engraved with the beautiful regimental emblem of the Coldstream Guards. You'll also find 2 well sized flap pockets as well as an internal pocket.
