A wonderful quality jacket from a gentleman who served throughout WW2. Although having the rank of Captain written on the inner label, it looks like he war promoted a handful more times finally settling at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Serving across mainland Europe, he eventually earned a military cross for tremendous gallantry. The jacket is made of a quality wool material with a wonderfully comfortable sateen lining, adorned with brass buttons engraved with the emblem of the Royal Artillery.
