Issued to British soldiers who've joined one of the Guard branches. Usually worn for parade, it is a good quality wool. The design is quite minimal, taking a traditional approach in design, having just a hook & eye closure collar and 3 buttons to fasten the piece shut. Such a design has not changed in decades. Cloaks these days are seldom seen but provided crucial protection in a bygone era.
