Beautiful elegant ceremonial dress from the British Army. This particular jacket from the British army would've been worn on ceremonial duties, or for parade events. No. 1 dress is the highest level of dress uniform most soldiers will wear, and is earned after a good few years in the army, with each part of the uniform being tailor made.
For features, it is quite a simple jacket, made from 100% wool. There's 4 pockets in total, 2 flap and 2 buttonable flap pockets, arranged in the typical "safari" style, with 2 on the hips and 2 on the chest. The collar is mandarin style, being closed with 2 hook & eyes. On the shoulders you'll find shoulder epaulettes, usually designed to secure ribbons and other sashes during ceremonial events. For the colour, it is a very dark navy blue, bordering on black.
