Grades - 

• Grade 2 / Original Condition - Over all in good shape for its age, the reason its listed as grade 2 is not due to any one major issue, but a few small things. The button holes are quite messy, there's some markings across the piece and some professional repairs made. Small cut in the front which is MOD standard, but doesn't notice when buttoned up.

A wonderful piece of vintage surplus. Issued to British soldiers who have served a great many years and have been assigned to be a guard at Buckingham Palace. It is made from an all wool material, offering great water resistance and warmth in harsh weather.

The design is quite minimal, taking a traditional approach in design, having just a hook & eye closure collar and 3 buttons to fasten the piece shut. A wonderful piece of militaria for a collector or for those wanting a classic vintage wardrobe.
