Grades - 

• Grade 1.5 - Good condition, previously issued and with signs of prior wear. Buttons removed by previous owner so some new ones will be needed. Original owner's surname written inside. Due to the MoD surplus system a small snippet has been taken out of the cloak, although this doesn't notice when buttoned shut.

A wonderful piece of vintage surplus. Issued to British soldiers who have served a great many years and have been assigned to be a guard at Buckingham Palace. It is made from an all wool material, offering great water resistance and warmth in harsh weather.

The design is quite minimal, taking a traditional approach in design, having just a hook & eye closure collar and 3 buttons to fasten the piece shut. A wonderful piece of militaria for a collector or for those wanting a classic vintage wardrobe.
