The bearskin hat is a really unique and quintessential part of British military fashion. It is recognisable across the globe and is only worn by those who have served for several years in the army. While this isn't the hat itself, it is the beautiful red plume that contrasts the black headpiece worn by the Coldstream Guards outside Buckingham Palace.
