Modern made British gear that is a classic piece of military surplus. I've seen it used by everyone from wildlife photographers to folk relaxing on a beach. In the army, it's worn by all ranks in the Middle East and other arid environments, it was a popular piece throughout the army. It's lightweight and comfortable, being made of a polyester & cotton blend.
The design is quite minimal, but certainly effective against protection from the sun. There's an optional neck flap that is easily attached via velcro.
Each hat comes in the classic British desert DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) camouflage. A camo that still sees use to this day, just not by the British all that often. It's a nice sandy colourway, that saw use from the 1990's up until around 2010. It saw use during the Golf War and then many conflicts in the Middle East and Afghanistan
