Perhaps the most iconic piece of surplus within the realms of British Army, the world renowned redcoat, with centuries of rich history across the globe is a fantastic piece of militaria. This particular coat is now reserved mainly for the most prestigious ceremonies within the country and the Commonwealth, rather than its more day to day use back in the 1700's when it was first issued to the Prince of Denmark's regiment.
The tunic is quite simplistic with its practical features, but more than makes up for it with its elegance and decor. The whole piece is made of a high quality wool material with a sateen lining, offering comfort and durability. You'll find each hem piped with an off cream edge, which matches beautifully the contrasting black cuffs, shoulder boards and collar. These black sections also include beautiful embroidery, especially on the collar where the regiments iconography is sewn. You'll also notice several engraved "staybrite" buttons which adds yet another level of flair and panache.
