Grades -
- Grade 1.5 - In good shape, no holes or tears aside from the small snippet on the inner hem which is MOD surplusing standard protocol and does not notice when buttoned shut. Signs of wear on the collar so may benefit from dry cleaning. Collar hook & eye has some patina from long term storage and general signs of wear. The last thing to note is the missing back belt buttons, but can still be worn as is.

A quintessential part of British army memorabilia. Reserved for those who have a long serving history in the Forces, who guard Buckingham Palace, this greatcoat is made of a high quality all wool material and comes with a unique and timeless design.
The coat comes with a tall funnel neck collar which can be overturned and fastened in harsh winds and cold winter weather. There's 2 deep flap pockets on the waist offering ample storage. Each button is engraved which adds a lovely bit of character. It comes in a solid grey colour which has a purple tint.
It's a stunning, stylish garment that is a fantastic statement piece for casual use or for a reenactor or theatre groups. Being so iconic from the front gates of Buckingham Palace, you can imagine the versatility these coats would have in any like minded wardrobe.
And as a helpful tip, you can just look at the Foot Guard's uniform to tell which time the UK is currently using. Red tunics for British Summer Time and these greatcoats for Greenwich Mean Time. So if you're in the area and confused about when daylight savings is happening, just take a look at the Guards.
