Grades -
- Grade 1.5 - In good condition. Previously issued and worn. Main thing to note is a patch that looks to be faintly discoloured (tiny bit lighter) as shown, but this doesn't notice all that much. Some minor markings from prior wear as shown, but again these are quite light. Repair made to the inner lining. Over all in very nice shape and up for much more wear or display
Any questions please feel free to ask!

This is the winter riding cloak of the Household Cavalry band. A very regal and stunning coat, worn exclusively for just a handful of occasions. These include state visits by foreign dignitaries and leaders and the monarch's birthday parade. The Horse Guards themselves consider this apart of their own "pomp and ceremony" garb, to which it certainly lives up to.
The detailing of the gilt thread along the cloak's closure is meticulous and is one of those details that really can't be done justice by the camera. The golden colour, contrasted by a rich burgundy made of pure quality wool and a crushed velvet navy collar. These are exceptionally heavy cloaks and really are one of a kind. When paired with the shining helmets, flowing plumes and polished cuirass beneath and it makes for quite a sight.
Often because of how much care goes into making these coats, its common to find a few previous owners as older troopers retire and new ones take up the reigns. All that to say, these are quite a scarce piece to find and a pleasure to have in stock.
