Current issue British surplus that sees use across the whole armed forces! Since being issued in 2011, the MTP series of British combat gear has spread across the globe much like the American Multicam camouflage of which MTP takes its main colours form. Being general issue, these jackets are designed for all types of activities and are quite light and comfortable, especially in arid and warm climates as this one is intended for. This particular jacket would've been worn by a member of the Royal Navy's Commando personnel, an elite branch of the British Armed Forces.

You'll find 2 large velcro chest pockets with side access as well as a velcro pocket on either sleeve. These pockets have a little area for patches. Speaking of the sleeves the elbows are lightly reinforced but can be fitted with extra protection if desired. The cuffs can be adjusted to either let the jacket breathe or insulate and in colder weather the collar can be fastened up to provide a bit of extra wind resistance.  Each jacket is closed up by both velcro and a zipper.

The camouflage pattern is the British take on the American Crye Multicam camouflage, a pattern which is quickly becoming a standard pattern across much of the NATO aligned nations. The British variant blends the shapes and patterns from the old DPM camouflage but combines it with the effective concealing colours from Multicam. Great for outdoor wear or of course airsoft as these jackets are quickly becoming related to.
