A beautiful classic piece of British army history from the tropical regions of the globe. Worn by an officer within the Royal Army Chaplains' Department, a branch of the army which has offered guidance and aid to many soldiers over the years. This jacket would've been for warmer climates and is made of an all cotton material by Moss Brothers, a firm which has a long standing history with the British army well before it became the fine menswear tailor it is today.

The jacket is in the iconic safari style, with 4 large pockets across the front and belted right the way round. You'll also find shoulder epaulettes for carrying kit and several hemmed holes for attaching your officer rank pips and badges. The cuffs also have a nice decorative piping, subtle but a lovely touch. The whole piece is in a khaki beige colour and is only contrasted by the steel belt buckle and black buttons, all of which are engraved with the Chaplain's department's emblem.
