Vintage surplus that saw infrequent use throughout the 1980's. Thankfully, most of the time these only saw training use. Designed to go with a pair of over-trousers, this protective suit smock is ready for some seriously harsh environments.

This is a wonderful piece to have in, even in it's condition, purely for the history. It's a rough and ready piece that has such a story to tell. These NBC protective suits are actually made of reinforced nylon, that's the colourful shell but inside, they're lined with impregnated charcoal felt. Quite the combo. Although the jacket has the hood, these suits were known as the "Noddy suit" due to their silly similarities to Noddy's cap.

For features, well, it's protective against nuclear, biological and chemical warfare environments, hence the NBC name. It also has 1 large velcro pocket that offers plenty of easily accessable storage when worn.

The camouflage is the renowned DPM pattern, however in a much earlier colourway than we often see used today. It is a slightly lighter shade. Still great for field use and camouflage.
