A fantastic piece of modern militaria from the British Army. Worn by medical staff of the Royal Army Medical Corps, the personnel of this unit offer a crucial role within the British Forces. The all wool material is dyed in a navy colour, subtly contrasted by the burgundy red patch with beautiful cap badge fixed above. The emblem of the RAMC is that of the Rod of Asclepius, a serpent coiled around a staff, surrounded by laurels and the monarch's crown. An excellent piece of militaria for a collector.
