Grades - 

• Grade 1.5 - Good shape, no holes or tears, some general signs of prior field use, the extra waterproofing hem seal has lost adhesive in some places but these seams are still waterproof and the coat is up to much more use!

Brilliant retro British surplus that has is wonderfully versatile. This lightweight coat was designed for all soldiers to use during wet weather. It can easily be worn by itself or over another jacket to provide a waterproof shell. The smock is made of a breathable MVP goretex material and is really quite minimal in design.

For features, aside from the obvious water resistance, you'll also find the cuffs, hood and hem adjustable to help insulate in particularly harsh weather. It also features a chest access zipper to reach any gear you may wear underneath. The hood folds back into the neck when not in use. Being so lightweight, it is also very easy to pack up and store similar to a poncho. 

The camouflage is of course the renowned Disruptive Pattern Material, or simply DPM pattern and is a slightly lighter shade than the usual cotton kit from the time due to the material. DPM offers fantastic camouflage and is still in use today in a good 40+ countries. Truly a reliable piece of kit.
