Grades - 

• Grade 1 - In great condition especially for its age. Some names of the previous owners written internally. Small snippet removed from the hem which is MOD surplus standard, but this doesn't notice when closed. Small and faint markings in places, but not too noticeable. Button holes' threading has worn on a few places. Still up for plenty more.

A wonderful piece of vintage surplus. Issued to British soldiers who have served a great many years and have been assigned to be a guard at Buckingham Palace. It is made from an all wool material, offering great water resistance and warmth in harsh weather.

The design is quite minimal, taking a traditional approach in design, having just a hook & eye closure collar and 3 buttons to fasten the piece shut. A wonderful piece of militaria for a collector or for those wanting a classic vintage wardrobe.
