• Grade 1 - In great condition, some general signs of prior use but over all in lovely shape. Just some names written on the inside. The snippet on the hem is due to MoD surplusing protocols and doesn't notice when buttoned up.

A wonderful piece of vintage surplus. Issued to British soldiers who have served a great many years and have been assigned to be a guard at Buckingham Palace. It is made from an all wool material, offering great water resistance and warmth in harsh weather.

The design is quite minimal, taking a traditional approach in design, having just a hook & eye closure collar and 3 buttons to fasten the piece shut. A wonderful piece of militaria for a collector or for those wanting a classic vintage wardrobe.
