Grades - 

• Grade 2 / Original Condition - In need of some care but this is mostly on the strap closure's lining and hook & eye, so some sewing will be needed for longevity's sake. Hems would also benefit from some repair. Some markings as shown, but all in all a very nice quality and well worth the restoration

A wonderful piece of vintage clothing. These came from a gentleman's trunk who served in the Merchant Navy in South East Asia, mostly Singapore and Hong Kong during the 1950's and 60's. During his service he gathered a fine collection of clothing, from general day to day working items and more casual summer kit such as these beautifully designed lightweight shorts to tackle the hot tropical summers.
