Grades - 

• Grade 1.5 - In good shape for its age. Naturally being an older piece and with such a delicate colour, there are some markings and signs of prior wear, mostly on the collar. Top looks to be without holes, collar has some small signs of wear towards the bottom as shown. Please see all photos

A classic piece of British Royal Navy surplus. First issued in 1857, it was the first uniform established for ratings ranks. It is the base layer to the "square rig" uniform. This particular piece arrived with a lot from a gentlenman from Devon, who served throughout WW2 and into the 1950's. No date present unfortunately.
