• Grade 1 - Good condition and excellent quality. Previously issued with general signs of use. Some of the ribbon bar appears to have been removed but over all great shape. Ready to wear!

Stunning and distinctive modern surplus from Great Britain. Issued to Royal Marine Commandos, it is designed for use in ceremonial occasions, it is akin to the army's No. 2 dress uniform, but with a few key distinctions. The jacket comes in a shade used only by the marines and features darkened bronze buttons which feature the emblem of the Royal Marines. 

The jacket has 4 external pockets, all of which can be buttoned shut and also features 2 internal slit pockets for smaller items. Shoulder epaulettes attach prestigious sashes and rank badges, along with other distinctive decorations. The jacket is lined with a sateen material and is made of a 100% quality wool material. Truly something special for those who do absolutely phenomenal work. 

This particular jacket belonged to a gentleman who made quite a career in the Royal Marines in the early 2000's, serving in Afghanistan and staying in service for a good decade more.

For colour, "Lovat's Green" is a lovely blend of mossy greens and browns, a subtle combination that adds depth to a fantastic pair of trousers. This is likely as close as the British have to a "field grey" colour.
