Fantastically tough and durable surplus from China. The Type 56 and Type 81 are renowned for their hardwearing nature and make for a real bit of gear. Bandoliers like this one were often sent through lend leases to Chinese aligned countries such as Vietnam and Laos and often can be seen in use throughout the troubles in South East Asia.

The pockets are designed to fit 4 grenades or smaller items like field bandages and 3 AK47 magazines in the 3 larger pockets, all of which can be shut with a wooden toggle. The shoulder straps can be adjusted to any length and as the waistband is tied, this will fit most sizes. The olive green colour makes for excellent camouflage and hides dirt well. A really fantastic piece of kit.
