A beautiful piece of recent militaria. This delightful parka is from Czechia and first saw issue right at the start of its statehood. Wanting a unique and cutting edge design for her new army, the Czechs came out with the M97 service uniform and ones like this in a service blue colour are intended for more administrative and guard duties than use in the field.
The coat with its army of tomorrow design comes with some great features as well as distinctive design choices. You'll find 2 large hip pockets as well as an internal pocket for more important bits and pieces. The coat comes with this wonderful plush and soft faux fur liner which runs throughout. It can be detached too meaning this coat is still great for warmer months. You'll also find some nice touches like the Czech flag, a full length belt and shoulder epaulettes. It really is a fantastic piece of military surplus that really, aside from having the Czech flag, looks like any other great bit of kit.
These coats also take Czech fur collars (not included) if you want a little bit of extra warmth. They even work with the older Czechoslovak M85 parka collars, assuming you don't mind the green backing.
