Retro & vintage, issued Czech kit. Issued for just a few years, these were general issue for mechanics and the like. Lightweight, comfortable and for warmer weather, these are great at covering smudges.

These are an amazing trousers to talk about, purely for the camouflage, well, accidental camouflage. In 1992 the Czechs launched this beautiful colourway into the world, intended for mechanics, labourers etc. (but did see use across the whole army) to have a work uniform that would hide grease, oil, dirt and the like. It does do a great job of this, I wholeheartedly vouch for that, but it also works incredibly well as a regular combat camo. The Czechs noticed this and began painting a few transport and ammunition vehicles in this colourway.

The camo although nowadays quite scarce has still earned various nicknames. The main one is "Night Camo" as at a glance, could be mistaken for the US night camo. There's also the "Worm Pattern" because of the mossy, snaking look that you may find under a pile of logs while disturbing a few worms and other critters.

Unfortunately though for the Vz 92's garment life, it was replaced just a few years later with the now more renowned Vz 95 camouflage, so it's short life makes it a unique piece that is great for anything mucky outdoors. Please note, shades may vary a little bit due to different manufacturing years.

As for features, it is quite minimal, having just the average slit pocket on either waist side and then 1 button pocket on the rear. The waistband is quite handy as it can be fastened by an interior drawstring. There's also elasticated cuffs which help insulate and protect against any splashes.
