• Grade 1  - Great condition kit from the 1960's. Does have the previous owner's name written on the outside and inside, but not something that would notice if worn as intended.

Vintage cold war surplus from the dissolved Czechoslovak People's Army. These are some of the best military surplus liners, even today. They're a comfortable and warm cotton, nicely quilted and make for surprisingly nice loungewear. Originally they were worn by soldiers, especially those on guard duty under their usual uniforms, for the cold Eastern European winters.

The design is wonderfully simple, there's no pockets, but an adjustable drawstring waistband which tailors each pair nicely. Each trouser leg has a knitted elastic cuff which really helps to insulate. There are also buttons to attach it into the proper uniform. This would've been the Vz. 63 "jehlicí" or "needles" camouflage uniform, similar to the German "strichtarn". 

Overall this is a fantastic liner to own, especially if you spend a great deal of time outdoors! Offering great value and durability these make for an excellent addition for any wardrobe.
