• Original Condition - Great quality vintage surplus, in used condition, bag and suit have some brown areas which are from sunbleaching in long term storage. Ready for wear but sold as a display / prop piece as it is untested for NBC use after 40ish years.

A unique part of East German surplus that saw use thankfully just in training exercises and never in the full out nuclear wasteland that these were intended for. The NBC suit was issued throughout the DDR for a couple decades during the Cold War but once the Berlin Wall fell these suits found themselves rather redundant.

The suit is made from a vinyl rubber material designed to protect against Nuclear and Bio-Chemical threats and is intended for use with a gas mask and rubberised gloves. It is a grey suit and while it isn't the most mobile it sure will do the job of protecting you in a fallout situation. The accompanying carry bag adds portability, making it a perfect addition to any costume or for Cold War enthusiasts.
