If you're looking for a beautiful and elegant coat for your winter wardrobe, made to to an superb quality, but need something a bit more lightweight than the usual military pieces, the modern made Finnish greatcoat is an excellent choice. Made of a wool & polyester material, the overcoat is usually worn with a service / dress uniform and as such is a lighter weight, in truth in weight it almost feels like a summer greatcoat, if such a thing can exist! With such a stunning design, it is certainly a fine finishing piece after plenty of layers below.

The coat takes inspiration from decades of army and air force design and keeps in keeping with a fully functional double breasted front which in harsh conditions can be buttoned right up to the neck. Speaking of buttons, each golden piece is engraved with the Finnish lion which adds a great touch. You'll also find 2 flap pockets which can be accessed from within the coat too, alongside the usual internal pouch pockets. You also have the option of 3 widths for the rear vent, although for the most dramatic style, as any greatcoat should be, we'd recommend having it entirely unbuttoned.

All in all a brilliant piece of modern kit with a rich history that makes for an exceptional statement piece.
