• Grade 1 -  Great condition for age, previously issued and with some signs of wear, mostly shown with the rust that has formed on the front hook & eye latch. Doesn't notice much when worn. See photos.

Phenomenal winter gear from a country that certainly knows how to make it. With a rich history throughout WW2, the quality of a Finnish ushanka is next to none. These were general issue throughout the 1940's and kept thousands of Finns warm whilst out in the field and given the climate, even in a Finnish summer, these were a great addition. They're made with a thick thermal padding and a wonderful synthetic faux fur lining across the ear and neck flaps, providing warmth and insulation when needed. It makes for an excellent collectible display piece.
