A wonderful piece of unissued vintage gear from Finland. Intended for use if the worst came of the Cold War, these thankfully ended up in government warehouses for many decades outside of a few exercises in the field.

The NBC kit includes of course a respirator, which comes with adjustable straps and a large visor which gives plenty of visibility to the user. The gas mask is then fitted with a filter. Please note that the one included is for display purposes only due to the materials used, however modern NATO and replica filters can be found and fit nicely onto the mask. Then you have a handy wipe and instructional leaflet which includes plenty of details alongside photo guides on how to use the mask. Finally you have a handy haversack which includes 2 compartments, one for the mask and one for filters, meaning you can carry the mask over your shoulder where ever needed. 

You can imagine during the midst of the global tension why these would be produced, but thankfully they are now like a fine wine, making a lovely addition to any militaria collection, especially with so many features.
