A superb bit of militaria from a more unusual branch of the Finnish Armed Forces. These were, as was all the rage at the time, the standard NBC uniform to protect soldiers in the event of nuclear fallout. The design is so easily dated from the era, with its retro yet futuristic style. Thankfully these uniforms never saw much use, often kept for training exercises, however come the events of Chernobyl in 1986, these were seemingly issued en masse for Finns and possibly to the USSR in a humanitarian effort despite the iron curtain.
