Modern militaria from Scandinavia. These quaint patches are were issued during the UN peacekeeping operation to Macedonia from around 1993 to 1995 after the mess caused by the fracturing of Yugoslavia. The battalion comprised of a joint effort from Finland, Norway & Sweden, comprising a few thousand troops. The UN mission in Macedonia is one of fascinating history and with the addition of such far stretching countries, it is certainly interesting to delve into.
