Grades - 

• Grade 2 / Original Condition - Certainly showing signs of its age. There's mothing mostly underneath the cap on the lining. Wool is loose in places and is coming away from the original sheepskin. Please see photos. Doesn't have a legible stamp, but arrived in among identical caps which were dated 1944. Rust on the front flap clip. Price reflects the wear / age.

Phenomenal winter gear from a country that certainly knows how to make it. With a rich history throughout WW2, the quality of a Finnish ushanka is next to none. These were general issue throughout the 1940's and kept thousands of Finns warm whilst out in the field and given the climate, even in a Finnish summer, these were a great addition. They're made with a thick thermal padding and a wonderful synthetic faux fur lining across the ear and neck flaps, providing warmth and insulation when needed. It makes for an excellent collectible display piece.
