• Grade 1 - Excellent condition, the kit is complete and has light signs of prior use. Some signs of age such as rust on the instruction's paper clips and some tools but all function and is just a lovely bit of history.

An absolutely brilliant piece of kit from WW2. Used by Axis forces throughout the battle on the Eastern front, this measuring kit was essential gear for logistics and support companies when planning an offence or defence. The kit is complete with all the tools needed to gauge a river's width (although it was often used for much more), something essential for Eastern Finland with its many lakes and intricacies. These kits were used not only by the Finnish, but Germans as well. The gauge is assembled by just a few parts and makes for a wonderful collector's or reenactor's piece.
