Beautiful cold weather gear from the French Army. Designed for use by French soldiers as a warm layering piece, fleeces like this have been general issued for decades. Made of an all polyester material it offers comfort and warmth in the coldest conditions. Although intended as a base layer, thanks to the CCE camouflage, it works great as a top layer too, all while remaining lightweight and breathable.

The camouflage is the classic French "Camouflage Central Europe" or simply CCE or central Europe camo. It's a great camouflage, a bit more muted than others, having black, browns and a bit of green in various blotches. Great as a casual wear piece for lounging about or for concealment outdoors, braving the elements.
