Vintage surplus from the end days of West Germany, although the design is still in use today! This particular jacket comes from 1973, right in the midst of the Cold War with all the tension Vietnam would've brought to the world. The jacket is made of an excellent quality wool blend material and is issued to those who've completed basic training within the German Air Force. This particular jacket would've been worn by an airman with the rank of "Flieger".
The jacket comes with 4 external button pockets and 2 internal slit pockets for all your smaller pieces. Each metal button is nicely stippled. The rear is single vented and the jacket is lined throughout with a sateen type material.
