Vintage surplus from the end days of West Germany, although the design is still in use today! This particular jacket comes from 1990, the year where East and West reunified and the iron curtain fell over the heart of Europe. The jacket is of an excellent quality and is made for soldiers who have completed basic training. The owner made it up to the rank of "Gefreiter", in addition to a brigade patch from the "Luftlandebrigade 26" division, a paratrooping group responsible for keeping supply lines running across enemy lines.
The jacket comes with 4 external button pockets and 2 internal slit pockets for all your smaller pieces. Each metal button is nicely stippled. Around the collar you'll find the logistics corps tabs in the "Medium Blue" colour, which is also piped around the shoulder boards. The rear is single vented and the jacket is lined throughout with a sateen type material.
