Vintage surplus from the end days of West Germany, although the design is still in use today! This particular jacket comes from 1974, the year West Germany won the world cup. The jacket is of an excellent quality and is made for soldiers who have completed basic training. The owner made it up to the rank of "Haupt-Gefreiter". The sleeve has the division patch for the "Sanitätskommando I" a military medical command.

The jacket comes with 4 external button pockets and 2 internal slit pockets for all your smaller pieces. Each metal button is nicely stippled. Around the collar you'll find the medical corps tabs in the "Gentian Violet" colour, which is also piped around the shoulder boards. The rear is single vented and the jacket is lined throughout with a sateen type material.
