A wonderful piece of vintage cold weather kit from Soviet Hungary. Designed to be worn as part of the Hungarian winter uniform this jacket liner slots wonderfully below the olive green parkas that would've been worn by soldiers of a bygone era. 

The liner is incredibly warming, designed to last the harsh and bitter winters of Eastern Europe. It is made of durable cotton shell with a thick and insulating wool blend lining. The piece is of course designed to be worn under the correlating parka but in all honesty it provides plenty by itself. It has a wonderful faux fur collar, a slit pocket and an internal drawstring across the waist which, along with the elasticated cuffs, provide fantastic insulation during harsh weather. A great piece of Cold War kit, that is sure to keep you cozy whatever your adventure.
