Comfortable, sporty surplus from the Italian army circa 1990. These tracksuit bottoms were designed for use by Italian recruits and cadets when first starting out their army career, seeing frequent use in physical training exercises. The design is very minimal, but certainly practical and quite flash, even with more neutral tones.

Made from a 76% polyester and 24% cotton blend, these trackies are certainly comfortable. Each pair of trousers comes with piping down either leg, featuring the colours of the Italian flag. This contrasts nicely against the olive brown colour. On the left side you'll also find a patch with "E I ESERCITO" with the initials standing for Esercito Italiano, or Italian Army in English, and "Esercito" just meaning army. 

For utility, again it's quite minimal having only 1 rear pouch pocket. The trouser leg cuffs and waistband are elasticated and if the elastic on the waist doesn't give you a snug enough fit, you can always use the drawstring for your desired fit.
