Bold and vibrant vintage surplus from the Italian army. Used during the 1990's for in the field. It saw use with UN peacekeepers in Somalia during 1991. It's 100% cotton, meaning it's comfortable and durable in those warmer months. 

The hat can easily be worn like a classic boonie, but there's the helpful feature of a side button to transform the piece into a slouch hat, so if you frequently throw your kit over one shoulder, you'll always keep your hat in place. There's 4 vent holes to help with breathability in the summer months and also an adjustable neck strap to stop the hat falling off.

For the camouflage it is the distinctive Italian "mimetico deserto 91" which was Italy's very first purpose built desert camouflage. It takes inspiration from their "roma 90" camouflage, but changes up the colourway quite a bit, giving it the unique look.
