Modern army surplus which was the standard for the Italian army up until 2005. Being general issue, this uniform was used by most of the Italian armed forces, even their paratroopers, in an array of climates. It's all 100%, meaning it's comfortable, lightweight and easy to clean!

For the design, it's got a few handy features. Namely, it's the velcro pockets, 2 rear and 2 larger leg / thigh ones, so you're all set with whatever you're carrying. Then there's the elasticated cuffs, these help insulate but also protect against the elements and dirt if more arduous environments. Then finally, there's the 2" belt loops which are for... 2" belts. This can be really helpful for those that prefer the security and utility that a larger duty belt offers!

All trousers come in "Mimetico Roma 90", a lovely camouflage that was heavily influenced by the iconic American M81 pattern, although much richer than its US counterpart. If you can't get your hands on M81, this is a fantastic alternative. You could still easily match it with any M81 camouflage kit. It's a great camo, certainly well suited to British & European woodlands, making it perfect for bushcraft.
