Vintage headwear from the Swedish Air Force, mostly dated from the mid 1960's. These were general issue throughout the Swedish Armed Forces, not only in the army but also in cases like these caps, by the Air Force for ground troops, seeing use by nearly all ranks and in many conditions. I would suggest them to best fit spring and autumn weather. Each cap is hard wearing thanks to the 100% cotton construct which means even today they hold up incredibly well.
The caps are minimalistic, keeping with a classic trapper cap design, but with the addition of a delightful golden patch showing the Air Force's insignia. The stormflap can easily be turned up on warmer days or kept down for protection against the elements. Further protection is provided by the firm front visor.
Sweden thankfully deviated from the usual olive green uniforms of the mid 20th century Western aligned armies and went with a lovely, slightly more vibrant forest green. Still great at providing camouflage if desired but a little more distinguished than the norm.
