A beautiful piece of ceremonial dress from Scandinavia. Worn by the Swedish Forces, the jacket is unique among military dress, opting for a dark teal blue over the usual olives and khakis. Jackets like this one were kept for special occasions alongside barracks work. This particular jacket belonged to a member of the Swedish Royal Cavalry Corps, indicated by the sleeve patch but also slanted flap pockets alongside belted back. 

You'll find it to be of very high quality being made from an all wool material with a sateen lining. The engraved metal buttons features the 3 Swedish crowns and give variety to the blue of the coat. An excellent piece for a collector or as a statement jacket that appreciates timeless and classic tailoring.
