• Grade 1 - Great condition, general signs of use but up for much more. Main thing is where one chest patch has been removed, but as shown this is only faint. Ready to wear!

Wonderful vintage surplus from 1960s's Sweden. Coats like this one saw widespread use throughout all of the Swedish forces throughout the Cold War. It has been an absolute favourite on the surplus market for years, as it is made of a long lasting and quality all cotton material which offers comfort and durability. 

For utility, the coat is equipped like any other M59 jacket, coming with 2 large button hip / waist pockets and 1 large and internal pocket for documents, ID cards, matches and cigarettes or even some gum. In harsh weather the collar can be flipped up and fastened shut to provide a little bit of extra protection. It is made entirely from a poly-cotton blend and is quite thick.
