- Grade 1.5 - Excellent condition for an item this old. General signs of prior wear but nothing too noticeable but may benefit from a quick wash. Due to long term storage, one of the pocket buttons has rusted. This is the only "major" flaw and aside from this is very much ready to wear.

Fantastic vintage surplus from 1960's Sweden. This particular coat was produced just 4 years after the world renowned M59 series came out. This uniform has become a major stable in the world of army surplus and for a great many reasons. This jacket comes with artillery regiment patches on each collar, a regiment crucial to the defence of Sweden in the midst of the Cold War, if Sweden's long standing neutrality ever was broken. This line of jacket would've been issued across all of the Swedish army, for a whole host of terrains.
For utility, the coat is equipped like any other M59 jacket, coming with 2 large button hip / waist pockets, 2 rear ones for ammunition and sundries and 1 large and 1 small internal pocket for documents, ID cards, matches and cigarettes or even some gum. In harsh weather the collar can be flipped up and fastened shut to provide a little bit of extra protection. It is made entirely from a poly-cotton blend and is quite thick. A lovely touch are the 3 crowns engraved on each metal button.
