• Original Condition - Taken out of a pallet full of these vintage deadstock bags. This particular one is in better shape but does have signs of its age, being roughly 60 years old. Clips work well, some patina and some markings. Please examine images well.

Beautifully unique vintage surplus from Sweden, made for the M51 gas mask and issued for as long as the mask itself. Sweden stayed neutral throughout the Cold War, but it still prepared for the worst, issuing gas masks and chemical protection kit to its army, and later to civilians, in case of nuclear fallout or chemical attack. Bags like this one were made en masse as part of that readiness.

Because it was built around the awkward shape of a gas mask with its filters and lenses, it has an unusual shape and a side opening. It is made of a durable 100% cotton canvas.
