A classic piece of American surplus from the middling years of the Cold War. Issued to soldiers who would later go on to fight in Vietnam, this winter liner was designed to fit into standard issue combat trousers to provide an extra layer of warmth when out in the field. It is made from a nylon shell with a warming polyester filling. The entire piece can be buttoned into the intended combat trousers or works nicely as a reworking piece. Great for reenactors.
